I became fascinated in the changing clouds above my garden & found that the medium of solar printing seemed the best way to capture some of their grandure. The trees & bushes of my garden were made from card cut-outs & leaves & grasses inked up & monoprinted on to each solarprint

ARTIST DETAILS

I am a printmaker & have been making artists books since 2000. Two of my books have been based on Kew Gardens - a large public garden and horticultural centre in London, where I live

Many of my bookworks relate to mythology, which is one of my passions. I used to enjoy showing them at the annual London Artists' Book Fair in London. The British Library bought copies of all the works I showed.

Sadly this event has now moved to the Whitechapel Gallery where my work is not considered suitable. I do feel there is now a lack of a more eclectic outlet in the London area. I wonder if anyone has ideas on this subject...
