The
book is an exploration of comparing the mundane, using something as
simple as basic ropework, and re-interpreting them using techniques
from (kinbaku) and (shibari). While using the traditional techniques
of book-binding and the beautiful materials usual associated with
artists books, this book takes the non-traditional path of using images
alone to tell its message: this makes the message more enigmatic,
and more open to interpretation by the reader.
