Size: My books open out in a concertina. They range between 24cm x 6cm open to 42cm x 10.5cm open.

Media: I use birch plywood as my pages and paper collage.

Title: Together

My books were originally inspired by the Angus Wilson book 'The Middle Age of Mrs Eliot', hence the name.

I'm inspired by many things. Mainly, I love working with text and cutting it up to create a completely new narrative and atmosphere. I started using this at art school where I made lots of sketchbooks of chopped up text and illustration.

So I wanted to turn this idea into something that could be a little book in itself and something very special.

I find a sentence or some words that I love from the book, put them together to create a new narrative then design the pages to go with them. I also make larger single pieces. (Francesca Iannaccone, 2007)
